What makes Or Breaks An Airport For You?
What makes or breaks an airport in terms of being convienant or "enjoyable" for you? Other than the normal stuff like how quick you get to the hotel? For me it's food. It's all overpriced junk in reality but I do take a strong like to JFK Terminal 5.... CLT's main food court is not too bad either.

My favorite airports have an FBO that knows how to deliver excellent customer service by a knowledgeable and genuinely friendly staff. I'd even trade lesser quality facilities for this rather than and FBO with pristine facilities and poor customer service. A crew car is always nice.

Good FBOs
I fly corporate and part 135, so terminal food courts never make a difference to me. As stated before FBOs with great service are key. WIFI is a must, car rental or a decent crew is also a must. A comfortable place to sit and wait and relax is nice too. I'm pretty easy going really. All I need is a way to get some good meals and be productive while waiting for PAX to return.

I'm hoping to partake in the excellent Forbes Field (Topeka, KS) BBQ lunch coming soon. Some of the best ribs I've ever had!
This is probably a little off track since the OP did seem to be keying on the airline side of flying and asking about terminals; but I'll go ahead and echo what others so far have said about FBOs. Lunches, something to drink (coffee, tea or lemonade for example), WIFI like IdahoFlyer said can make a wait productive at least, a crew car that you can borrow to run into town is really nice, and TRUSTWORTHY line service - - for example if you ask them to have the airplane out of the hangar at a certain time and fueled - that it is in fact out of the hangar and fueled!
Sorry cheeseburgerler for the thread drift if this is outside of your intent.

How long since the Governor was there is what does it for me. Somewhat more seriously I like an FBO that has friendly people, good coffee, a big flight planning room and brass toilets. Since I fly pistons I hate when they make us park 4 miles from the door so that matters a lot. As far as 121 is concerned I like the ones with art exhibits although a couple of nice food courts always makes an impact on me.

I want an airport that I can get to any gate in a matter of minutes without having to clear TSA again. I'm a commuter so I want the ability to run from one flight to another on a different airline. I also want the ability to get a descent somewhat healthy meal for less than $10.
DFW, DEN, ATL, SLC, PIT, SEA, ORD, CLT are all pretty good.
LAX, JFK, SFO and PHX are horrible.
