Thumbs up Heat Wave In Seattle! Ahhh Ahhhh Ahhhh!!

The last time we had 82 degrees in Seattle was September 3, 2010.

Seattle temperatures could reach 80 by the weekend

Two words that haven’t been spoken together lately in Seattle: hot and weather.

But that might change this weekend.

The National Weather Service is calling for temperatures in the 70s, and it could even reach 80.

“Right now we’re seeing widespread 70s and some models show 80,” said Jeff Michalski, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service.

The warmest it’s been in Seattle so far this year is 70 degrees on May 20.
Michalski said the official forecast calls for 74 degrees on Saturday.

But, of course, it won’t last. On Monday a big onshore push will bring in marine clouds and the temperatures will get knocked down about 15 degrees.

80 degrees down here in Texas would be a cold snap, not a heat wave. It was 94 today and is supposed to be 97 tomorrow, but that's ok because it's been a dry heat.

100 degrees near the MSY airport, and I assure you it was not a dry heat.

Default Heat wave and snow melt

I read recently that the northwest and west could be the next regions to suffer floods. SAC has an equal risk to flooding compared to New Orleans. The grand Cooulee dam is discharging HUGE amounts of water ion prepartions for heavy snowpaacl melting. Crazy! I live along the Columbia River, too. (KPSC) Time to break oout the waiters.

don,

What do you do with waiters after you break them out?

And where are they incarcerated currently?

It is now 4:15 pm Friday, June 3, and I, too, am in PSC having just flown in on Horizon. I traded 80 degrees in Seattle for 90 degrees here.

Husband is desperately looking over guide books and brochures looking for a nice dinner place. Good thing I had a strawberry shake to tide me over.
