Commodities
I am looking to start up commodity running (legal substances) in south Florida. This is to offset the use of an Eclipse jet that would be utilized by my company. We have all of the main issues of the aircraft handled i.e. fuel, hangar, maintenance, possibly insurance. We are very interested in running commodities, whether it be at night or any time up to 7 days a week.
Does anyone have any clue what some good commodities are to run from South Florida. You've got the obvious feeder routes for FedEx or UPS, blood, or checks but what are some others or what are some ways to contact these companies to enter into this?
I am running out of ideas or ideas for this. Any help with this would be appreciated, other than the don't do it option.
Thanks!

Fedex has it's own feeders, and owns the aircraft in which the feeders use. UPS does 30 day contracts for feeder routes. I believe the regional or hub manager oversees this, so they would be the POC. If there are any pharmaceutical companies there, I know certain high value, and time critical medications would need fast transportation to hospitals. (Radiation meds, and such)
I guess you could contact a local laboratory looking to expand, and fly specimens.

Thanks Ziggy that is great information. It gives me a start with all of the misleading information you get on the net these days. I will work on that, the specimins and medicines were along the same line of thinking but yet very different. It helps. Thanks
