Threads moved to slowly die
Why are important threads being moved to rarely visited sections. Southwest hiring was moved and all activities on that thread died besides my last post.
There's news of opening up pilot applications in mid march and nobody cares I guess.

A thread about hiring belongs in the hiring news section, it's plain and simple. They weren't moved so they would 'die', just moved to the proper location so they don't clutter up the major/regional/cargo sections. With carriers starting to hire again, there have been a lot of 'class date' threads and 'hiring specific' threads popping up.

A couple of things you might want to consider:
If you find a thread you like - subscribe to it. No matter where it's moved (if it's moved) your subscription will point to the current location. Click on "Thread Tools > Subscribe" If you lose interest, you can always unsubscribe.
Use the search box in the upper left corner, APC bought a Google Search Appliance just for you.

Call me crazy, but clicking on the "New Posts" link seems to take me to all of the recent activity, regardless of the area it's posted in. But then again, I'm sort of a nut-job in that regard...

Bookmark one of these and you should be able to find all threads with recent activity:

Whats funny is that there are so many sub-topic forums on APC that you could find reasons to move nearly every thread out of where ever it was posted to some other forum. It's a bit overkill, if you ask me.
Glancing at the first page of the Majors forum and I can see several that the Mods should move if they were really so concerned about 'not cluttering' up the boards. But instead of that, why don't we just lop off about 40 or so rarely used/needed forums and leave the remaining 50 for good communication?
