Yeah, I have seen them. But there is a huge difference between a handful of experimental aircraft that can fly for 15 minutes before needing a 1-5 hour charge, and a large production run of four seat training workhorses.

They are flying, but I'm not sure they have much potential above the LSA level. They might be able to fulfill some training roles, but I doubt the FAA would issue a COMM or ATP to someone who had never flown an engine that burned liquid fuel.

MPL will be dead as soon as single pilot airliners come online , but i think there´s another thread on here about the single pilot airliners.
