Happy Thanksgiving 2010

This is my early Thanksgiving greetings to one and all. My parents are gone, even my dog is gone, and the rest of the family scattered a bit this year, so my husband and I are going out of town (no, not flying and letting some pervert grope me) for a much needed break away from things.

We already had our turkey dinner last night. Lots of leftovers and will be making our favorites: Turkey a la King, Turkey Soup, Turkey sandwiches, Turkey pot pie, Turkey ice cream, etc. If you have a layover in Seattle tomorrow or Tuesday, you can help us eat all this stuff!

Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving. Some of you have told me you won't be at home, but I hope you get together with your crew anyway and make the best of it wherever you are.

Thanks VB, Happy Thanksgiving to you too. I forgot what it is we are supposed to be thankful for (corn and Indians?), but I have my own list of things. My house cat and I are going to live it up that day.

We're flying as well. Taking the Mooney to IAD. I wonder if my wife will concede to reciprocal TSA-type pat downs prior to departure?

Thanks. Kinda lonely here in the islands (holiday isn't celebrated here), but some of the football is on and I can always lay out by the pool in 80+ degree sunshine. Life does have its little compensations ...
