I never understood by airline pilots care what they flew. Think about it, your check isn't cut from the 777 pool of money, or the 757/67 pool. No it's cut from the same company. So who cares what you fly. I'm all for what UPS has, two pay scales and longevity.

No doubt UPS has a sweet payscale, but the only way it works is by having a fleet that is very similar in revenue generation capabilities. UPS payscale probably wouldnt work for a legacy airline that flies MD80s/737s/757/767/777/etc. Especially now that legacy carriers are trying to gain 100seat and smaller aircraft.

I don't see that working out to well, also if your flying a plane that is generating more revenues. You should make more money.
