I have seen many contrails while flying, but none that has a burning orange flames putting out what looks like a corkscrew trail. Looks to me that it was a missile fired which failed into a corkscrew spin and balistic trajectory. Look at the orange flames of the target. That is no aircraft! Also the top contrail appears behind the top layer of clouds. And the lower contrail appears in front of the lower level clouds. It is going UP and West. Not level and east.

We all know that our government and military took thousands of close up pictures of this thing whatever it was. What's the big the deal? What's with all the secrecy? If it was an airliner, then show us! If it wasn't, then still....show us!

Could that missile have been this?

FlightAware > US Airways #808 > 08-Nov-2010 > PHNL-KPHX

Perfect timing. That 757 looks like it was tracking Santa Catalina vortac SXC before it turned inland.

Or what?

Contrail yes. But NOT of an airplane. That much I am positive. Airplanes do not have a visible orange fire coming from the rear of the aircraft. At least not unless they are on fire. And nobody declared an emergency for an engine fire, now did they?

Take a look at the video. Closely. It's not an airplane.

From your link: A contrail can only exist when an aircraft is at, or above, 22,000 feet. This is due to condensation from the cool air moving around the hot areas of the aircraft. (engines). When the hot air hits the cool air it creates a vapor trail (contrail). A contrail below 22,000 feet isn’t possible unless the surrounding air is at, or below, -20F (Does not include wind chill factor). The aircraft must be moving at the speed of sound (768 mph). Also due to the lower pressure in altitude.

All wrong. Trying to extract three dimensional data from a two dimensional film clip has proven to be difficult at best.

It is an aircraft contrail or

your government is composed of liars or

the news media often lies for sensation.

Pick one or all three.

Sometimes people mistake the glint of sun for fire, and sometimes they mistake hype for reality.

Calm down. The setting sun was behind the contrail.
