Default Man On No Fly List Flew Anyway

Yeah, on Delta all the way to Seattle! I wonder about that dang list sometimes. My husband is not on the list, but he gets pulled aside every time and is examined by a supervisor no less, all because he shares a birthdate with a real terrorist. If my husband is a terrorist, then he's got me fooled for 24 years!!

Yeah, he flew on Delta. However, he wasn't put on the list until after the flight was airborne. This is an intelligence failure, not a failure with the airline (thank God).

Try this for your husband
TSA: DHS Traveler Redress Inquiry Program (DHS TRIP)

What you want is called a "Redress number". Once obtained, you enter it at the time of making your reservation. It will resolve concerns with being matched some how to the No Fly list.

Also I agree with the above. Thankfully this was a failure of communication, and there isn't much the airline can do about it. It's also not the first time this has happened.
