I'm desperate

What to do?
My take on your situation:
Step 1. Suspend all aviation training and education.
Step 2. Remove any aviation related accomplishments from your resume.
Step 3. Find the quickest trade, career or new path to becoming financially stable.
Step 4. Once you and your family are financially secure, all bills paid off and savings in the bank, then reconsider resuming your quest for flying.
Often being a husband and father means taking one for the team.

Thanks all for the words of encouragement. I live near Vero Beach, Florida which is on the Atlantic side. I'm willing to go any where at this point. I had my internet and phone shut off, but I made enough to get 'em turned on again.
I did try to go active duty through a recruiter, but they wanted a "conditional release" form signed for approval from my unit, but it was denied.

I just ended a 17 month stint on the streets. I know things can seem pretty rough at times, but hang tough and you will make it through. There's already some very good advice on here. I would add that you should check out an employment agency (Randstad worked for me). It won't get you flying, but their services are FREE and could be a good way to keep a roof over your head. One step at a time.

Wanted to let everyone know that today I was called for an interview at a flight school that's 45 minutes from where I live. Hope I get it. Thanks all for the words, it will be nice to be able to start flying and having a paycheck again. Even the hint of having an interview has done a lot to boost the moral.

I had a few of those ^^^, hopefully yours will turn out not like how mine did. Good luck.
