Default Airline Attire

I was just wondering if the airlines provide their pilots with their uniforms and jackets or do you guys have to purchase that on your own? Th jackets seem really expensive. I was just browsing :

don't know about the majors, but at the regionals, the uniforms are typically payroll deducted. Some companies provide uniform allowances (either a lump sum at the start, or so much per year). It all comes down to the contract.

Broke FOs can sometimes find used uniform coats for sale from other pilots at the company (like captains that just upgraded or people that are moving on to other companies).

I am personally boycotting tally-ho uniforms and they still owe me money. Customer service is so hard to find in MIA.

At the airline I work for, we get an initial allowance of $300 and $150 per year thereafter. The allowance has stayed the same for at least 15 years.
