Why do we fly for the regionals???
Low pay crappy life I sometimes wonder "Why do we do it?" then I remember....
For once you have tasted flight you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skywards,
For there you have been and there you will long to return.
Leonardo Da Vinci
I have a feeling he made more then me even in those days......

Another misconception with the general public. I love my job therefore I shouldn't be paid. Truth be told I don't like my job. I love bumping around the pattern in a C-152, but waiting out a delay for EWR in the pad, or any of the other BS? No way.
It would be a shock to the cubicle drones if they had to do this job. This isn't for everybody.

Timmay,
I believe that big national airline pilot union also believed you. Or were too lazy to check out your unbelievable stories.
Hope you're enjoying your time saving cats in trees at the fire dept.

Wait a minute....you flying F-16's wasnt true????? When you told me you were the CFI who not only taught the Orville and Wilbur Wright how to fly but gave them their multi rating that was true wasn't it????? If I can't believe that story then how can I believe ALPA when they say all the money they take out of my paycheck is to benifit me. I believed everything you both said I'm sure you and ALPA wouldnt lie to me.
