I have to add my favorite summary of those who buy into conspiracy theories, still as true today as it was in 1936, although it is obvious that conspiracy theories have grown rapidly in size, complexity and scope:
The central belief of every moron is that he is the victim of a mysterious conspiracy against his common rights and true deserts. He ascribes all his failure to get on in the world, all of his congenital incapacity and damfoolishness, to the machinations of werewolves assembled in Wall Street, or some other such den of infamy.
- H. L. Mencken, 1936

Policticans are one group of people who often use this phrase - along with the Media - both which are well known for choosing their words carefully to incite against a foe or ellicit some favorable response to their agenda.
You had a reason for posting what you did. You wanted something from this thread or you would not have started it.
Your first post was:
1st bold - Why should I watch it?
You think it is true and you want others to see it and bring out the truth?
2nd bold - what do you think a majority in this country think (and of courseof this forum)? Judging from your responses to some of the thoughts of others posters - you seem to think that there is something to these conspiracy theorists.
So the question really still stands from before.
Which is it? I don't think "Neither" is a true answer. You may think it is the safe answer though - but it is an end run.
I vote for incite - but others have decide to let you have your say.
Personally I think there are other forums to peddle this stuff on.

I have read a few of your posts on previous subjects and you seem like a reasonable guy. Do you think it possible that our air defense system was all of a sudden inept and ill prepared on that day? Do you think that 19 towel heads ALL made it through security on that day? Do find it somewhat perplexing that the CVR and FDR for both aircraft that hit the WTC went missing? My Dad was on alert duty in the Air Force in the early sixties through the late sixties and he finds it next to impossible that not one single airplane was even "looked at" by a fighter. I believe in his wisdom and first hand experience. Sounds like you believe everything the government has put forward without doing any of your own research. Cheers.

Also, I'm not surprised "19 towel heads" as you so eloquently put it were able to get through security that day with edged weapons - again, the type of threat we know today simply wasn't defended against back then.
Given the ridiculous energy involved in both aircraft striking the WTC and the intense post-impact fires that actually brought the buildings down, no, I don't find a lack of CVR/FDR from those aircraft perplexing and neither should anyone with an elementary level understanding of physics.

Your questions seem to be rather naive. Even to this day a possible terrorist on the watch list boarded a plane after attempting a bombing in NYC. The cvr/fdr's were probably melted or in a million pieces, and the US defense forces were not prepared for civilian aircraft to be used as weapons at that time.
Its a different world today. Believe what you want, but don't discount the real threats out there.
