hahaha. so much misinformation out there. It was an electrical fire in TLH. From what I was told it was fueled by an oxygen leak and thats why it burned hot enough to cause that kind of damage. Even snopes had to get in on the action.

now these are the pictures of the aftermath. After the plane landed while on fire they decided to taxi it to the hangar and ram it into other planes since they all needed heavy checks.

As said before, it was an electrical fire in TLH. The airplane sat in our maintenance hanger for months until Bombardier people repaired the plane.

The Captan is a friend of mine, said the fire started as soon as the ground crew plugged in the ground power. He stated that they apparently had trouble with the power unit before at the station.

I'm not airsupport (obviously), but the 3 RJ collision was the result of a mechanic running an engine without the parking brake on.

yeah it was a mess. here is the story and a few more pictures.

and an interesting twist. read the first comment below the article. was it sabotage?
