Default Any pilots familiar with Nicaragua's airport?

Just wondering if any of you DAL, AA folks are familiar with Nicaragua's airport, and if it's an easy airport to land/fly to.

I've seen some youtube videos and it seems pretty straight forward, with no weird mountains or jungle making it hard to access it.

In contrast, I've also seen Tocontin, Honduras, and I gotta tell ya... That airport looks crazy... Amazing it's "legally" open for business!

Been into Managua many times. No problem and not the least bit difficult except for the the distraction of their beautiful coastline.

Thanks, jungle. The airport in Managua seems to have a clear, flat path to the runway, and according to the airport, they have modern facilities/commercial instrument flight-features.

Yes they do, the arcing approach gives a great view of Lago Managua and an old Soviet era airfield(no longer used, see pic) plus a nice view of a volcanoe with a lake in the crater. Radar can be a little iffy and the economy is still in shambles from their little dance with the devil back in the eighties.

On final
