Default Life imitating art?

So there I was......

Heading eastbound on Delta flight 1798 last Monday (SAN-ATL), I was watching the inflight movie - 'The Day After Tomorrow'. There is a scene in the movie where an airplane hits some severe turbulence. That scene hadn't been off the screen 5 seconds when we start to hit some turbulence at FL370 just SSW of ABQ and the Captain comes on and announces that he was turning on the seat-belt sign but that beverage service would continue. Another rough patch and seconds later the Captain announces that beverage service will be suspended and all flight attendents should take their seats. The girl in the seat next to me looks a little nervous and her BF kind of chides her a little and says "Life imitating art huh? I sure hope nothing else in the movie comes true!"

Coincidence?

At least the in-flight movie wasn't "Airplane"

At an airport in Bolivia once, they were showing the movie about the Fokker 27 that went down with a soccer team in the Andes and the cannibalism that followed.

The irony appeared to be wasted, but I enjoyed it.

Did all the flights double up on the catering that day, just in case?

Tastes of chicken.

Let's hope that isn't life imitating art - at least again
Good movie though!
