Default Personal Values of a Pilot

Yesterday, I was given a task to write a article about the "Personal values of a pilot". The first thing that comes to my mind is that a pilot has to be loyal, conscientiousness, knowledge and profession. But I have a feel that this are the very obvious ones, the ones that you see from the outside as a "non-pilot". So what other personal values does a pilot have? I would be glad if you guys could help me out.
