Default "Love of Flying" type movies

I just saw the movie 16R for the second time (which is a really good movie by the way), and I want more.

Does anyone have any good tips for similar movies of the same genre ?

Never saw that one, but the movie that I really felt captured my love of flight when I was younger was "Radio Flyer", love that movie and really captures the joy of flight through the eyes of a child

Uh, that is not really a "feel good movie" Maybe it captures a child's fascination with flight. (although I don't really remember a lot of airplanes in it) But its a movie about a little kid trying to escape an abusive father.

if youve got the time try watching victory through airpower.

its walt disneys wwii film to emphasize the importance of aircraft in the war efforts.

A good airline pilot movie is "The Pilot".

Top Gun and Airplane pretty much tell you everything you need to know...

Seriously though, checkout The High and the Mighty. Not exactly "love of flying" but pretty good aviation drama. Also there are numerous IMAX aviation movies, any of which should be worth the ticket price.

I thought "Pretty Woman" gave a pretty good interpretation on why you shouldn't get too close to the hooker during a layover.

I thought "Pretty Woman" was about a pilot progressing through the regionals and then a rich business owner saves them and hires them to fly their G5 ?

The cockpit slap down scene is one of the best CLR/CRM tutorials out there
