Car shopping (not a cash for clunkers thread)
I'm considering buying a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Does anyone know of a good website where I can find actual dealer costs so I have a good position to begin dealing from?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Yeah the closest thing the unlimited that I know of is the Super Jeep, not quite unlimited but it does fly:
I've used Kelly Blue Book and Edmonds in the past & they seem pretty dialed in, check this out:
Let me google that for you

I just checked Edmonds and it doesn't look like they offer the dealer invoice any longer. 2009 Jeep Wrangler optional equipment at Edmunds

Having recently been through this I found quite a few good sites.
Edmunds and KBB of course are the most popular and Edmunds especially has the True market Value (TMV) and True Cost to Own (TCO) calculators that will help you in your search.
Truecar.com is a site that has the actual DEALER cost - even lower than the invoice price listed. It also has all the charts and graphs to help you with the TMV cost.
When I was bargining with the dealer they had already done their homework on Edmunds too and already knew what the TMV with Options Pricing was and they basically were unwilling to deal much off that price.
Most sites state that somewhere between 3-5% over invoice is a reasonable price for the vehicle.
I feel like I was VERY lucky to get mine at $100 over invoice and $1,000 below true market value.
Good luck in the search.
