I know you're way ahead of me with the search, I haven't bought a new car in almost 10 years. Just giving you grief the LMGTFY link

That truecars.com link looked like a good resource

I cant help you with costs.

However I recommend getting a set of BFGoodrich All Terrains for it. I have them on my Jeep here in Anchorage, and they do amazing in the snow, and on wet roads.

I just traded in a two door '08 Wrangler. I thought the TMV from Edmunds was helpful, and was lower than a lot of dealerships were willing selling for. I know the Unlimiteds are few grand more than the Limiteds, but they paid me 17,400 for mine, if that does ya any good.

Thanks.

You may want to look at Consumer Reports anyway. The reliability on these cars has been awful. I guess if you are on reserve, you may have the time, skill, and $$$ to work on them yourself.

Thanks for all the feedback. I may just hold off till all the 'cash for clunkers' traffic dies down. Then it will be business as usual(slow) again. Plus I'd be able to bargain better for an '09 with 2010's sitting on the lot.
