Should I go with the Palm Pre or Treo 755
So I've had my Treo 650 for over 3 years now and its starting to slip up some so I'm guessing a new phone will be needed within a few months. I love the Treo as I've gotten used to APDL and having my schedule on me at all times. Due to this it seems like my choices are basically boiled down to the Palm Pre or the Treo 755. Keeping APDL is a big factor and I've heard that this might be problematic for the Pre. Just wondering what you guys have figured out since the Pre has come out....is it worth it or should I just stick with old trusty Treo?

Yes, I am with cyrcadian... Get the iPhone.
Please don't ask how I know this, but if people are following the trend of the BlackBerry, then:
40% of BlackBerry users would switch to the iPhone, but only 14% want a BlackBerry as their next smartphone. In contrast, 82% of iPhone users are loyal to the brand and don't want to switch (97% of iPhone users would recommend the product to family and friends!):
Apple iPhone Would Attract 40% of BlackBerry Users, Study Says
And the new Treo and new Palm Pre do not stack up favorably against the iPhone... Very little in terms of apps. Even the BlackBerry Storm doesn't stack up well, with many glitches at launch...
Good luck with your choice!

I owned the Palm Pre for a short time. WebOS is awesome. I think it's leaps and bounds better than the iPhone OS; however, the Palm Pre build quality is TERRIBLE. It will not last a contract term. It's really unfortunate that they went the cheap route on materials and quality control to build this phone because the OS is really very nice. I returned it and am waiting to see if they make a new version or new phone for WebOS altogether.
The Palm 755 runs PalmOS which will never again be put into another smartphone. It has been discontinued. I wouldn't waist my time with it.
If I were you I'd hold off for now. While the iPhone is cool/trendy it has its problems too. In my opinion there isn't a phone on the market with a talking/voice quality as horrible as the iPhone. That's one of my big pet peeves about it. Not to mention AT&T's plan for it is way WAY overpriced and you'll get charged for every little feature.
You might want to wait until Sprint sells the HTC Touch Pro 2. It runs on the Windows mobile platform and APDL should operate on it. Also Palm has the Treo Pro, which is a Windows based smartphone. It'll run APDL too.
