Criticize Skyhigh
People love to criticize me on APC. I am too "negative" or a "sore looser". My aviation life has been an open book here for over four years now. I haven't made the best decisions at times but my full story is out there.
Others on APC are very careful about sharing too much about themselves. They know that there are secrets to be hidden that would taint most every aviation story. I bet that if I were given a complete and unguarded audit of other posters here and of their aviation lives I could find an impressive list of damages, nepotism and losses that they do not want to admit too. Not only would it bring to light their personal cost, but to do so would be sacrilegious to aviation.
So fire away. I am an easy target, but there is a skeleton in everyone's closet. Aviation comes at a price and most here take great efforts to cover it up. I don't. I am here to proclaim the hardships and downfalls of the profession, and not because I am negative but because I am in a position to be able to fully actualize and understand the damages and losses.

I have never criticized anyone on this forum because I believe everyone is entitled to their own opinions. And even though this forum is privately owned it is in the public domain so as long as the stuff you say are within forum rules people can post what they want. But with that comes critics and people that want to put you down for your opinions. It is human nature and its something everyone has done at least once or twice in their lives.
I suggest you ignore the critics and keep saying what you have in mind because that is the beauty of free speech. Even if I disagree with over 80% of the things you say in this forum I respect your opinions and would never put someone down for it.

YOU love to criticize aviation in general. There is NO doubt that you are negative. Most people have stories of both kinds - positive and negative - because that is how life actually is for most people. Highs and lows, good times and bad. You seem to live below a constant black cloud and it taints your outlook on life.
You would find fault in anyone's life or their story - whether successful or not. Do you think there aren't stories of "damages, nepotism, and loss" in every other situation we face on a daily basis? Do you really think it is only in aviation?
Your last paragraph is just standard Sky. One side of the story and claiming to educate. I've advocated balance to your stories for my entire time on APC. I truly believe that you could actually reach more people and educate more effectively - but you are one of those extremists - a radical when it comes to the downfall of aviation, who can't see the forest for the trees. You are negative in your views of the aviation business and it is unfortunate because I'd being willing to bet that you actually have some interesting stories to share.

Sky,
Your struggle in aviation is sadly, easy to explain. It is as close as your avatar. Foiled by the anti-KTM conspiracy. Ride Red.

And this begs the question; why on earth would one start a thread like this? Perhaps a little self justification?
As for me. I'm really not that important. What people feel about me is their business. And sure, I like it when people like me and agree with me, but I'm not dependant on it, certainly not in an internet forum.
To each their own I suppose.
