What would you do with a million dollars?
Okay, just for fun.
Mega Millions is $155M. The cash payout is $102M, Federal taxes is $25M, and so you're looking at $76M in GA, CA, NJ, TX and WA. Other states take out their state income tax so you'd be around $70M in most cases.
Even so, what would you do with $76M?

Maybe I'm just a little bit insane, but I like a lot of aspects of my job so I'd still keep it. But to make sure I'd enjoy the extra cash, I'd take TOWOP every other month and have a lot more fun on overnights.

Build my wife that logcabin dream home that she has wanted for a longtime on the lake where we live, get a really nice DHC-2 floatplane and a tricked out PA-12 floatplane
, a new jetboat for getting to our place, and a second home with at least 100 acres somewhere that is warm in winter and we can ride horses anytime we're there

Only 25% in taxes? I thought it would be more like 45%.
I'd buy my wife the home she wants and deserves.
I'd start living like an average airline pilot should be living.
I'd buy a C182 or something fun like a Cub or aerobatic plane. Why not both?
I'd pay my bills and debts.
I'd save some for my kids college.
I'd give 10% to the church.
I'd give some to selected charities.
I'd pay my parents debts.
I'd buy my dad a cool car of his choice from the 40's or 50's.
I'd save up to 50% of it and put it somewhere safe that collects good interest.
I'd not quit my job.
I'd never win, because I never play.
