Default I COULDN'T CARE LESS (bourbon inspired)

Please stop saying "I could care less." THINK about what you're saying. That makes no sense whatsoever. The correct word usage is "I couldn't care less."

That is all. Carry on.

yeah yeah, I ended that sentence improperly and may have misused a punctuation but, that is beside the point.

But there are days I could care less. I just don't want to put out the effort.

If that is a bourbon inspired quote, you obviously aren't drinking enough bourbon. I would like to see your tequila inspired quotes.

(And not to get technical, however, you actually can say "I could care less", it would just carry a different meaning. If somebody said "I could care less", that would mean that they actually could 'care less' , stressing that they do care, because they could put less care into the situation but choose not to because they care somewhat, hence the opportunity would be there if they chose to 'care less' than their current amount of care.)

How about this: "I could neither care less nor more" ?

I like this better. It will make me sound more smarter when I use it.

but there is always the possibility of caring less.

one addressed the subject with the sentence "i could care less" when in actuality if they did not even make the effort to make that sentence, that would result in caring less...right?

and yes, i am that lazy to not capitalize.

But unless one addresses the subject in the first place nobody would ever know, in which case the false assumption that the person could actually care more would be erroneously presumed.
