Default Unions lobby Congress on behalf of TSA

"The presidents of two large unions testified recently before Congress, outlining the alleged dismal conditions that screeners face, including long hours, low pay and high injury rates"

"TSOs routinely are at the airport 11 to 14 hours a day and get paid only for eight, due to split-shift assignments. Staffing levels at some airports are so low that TSOs are working extra shifts, not getting breaks, and working on their days off."

Aww poor things, sounds all too familiar as a RJ FO.

All though I do feel concerned about their situational awareness are after seeing a 7+ month pregnant women behind the X ray machines just before OSHA shuts the entire checkpoint down due to high levels of radiation.
