I think F1 regulates the one thing that needs to be regulated, tires. One manufactuer supplies certain compounds for a GP and the teams figure out how to make them work with there chassis. I think as a whole its over regulated, but theres a lot of different looking cars on the grid running lots of different equipment. I say cap the budget and R&D time and whoever is smart enough to make the fastest car wins. As long as they follow some general guidelines, ie, engine size and whatnot. I think you'd see some interesting concepts show up and it would make the series more competitive and fun to watch.

Its been a great season thus far. The Brawn team is the team to catch, its going to make for an exciting year.

Oh, and NASCAR stands for Non-Athletic Sport Centered Around Rednecks.

A bit of interesting news this season for me will be (like him or not), seeing Michael Schumacher making his comeback at Ferrari to replace injured driver Felipe Massa. It's really exciting to see Schumacher back in F1, especially on a track he probably has never driven! It will also be interesting to see if the magic is still there, maybe he can give the Frerrari a better run than the two current drivers, or prove the current Ferrari is a load of crap....

Nice job for MB F1. Both drivers quicker than the current world champ.
Excellent start to an exciting season.
