It may just have to be that a physical hookup on a group basis won't happen with all our busy schedules. Most of us are mostly talk anyway, and are probably introverted science major types with thick rimmed glasses. We might generate more titillating converstions if we don't see each other. Why ruin all our make believe characters and fantasies by seeing the real thing? I can tell everyone on the forum that I resemble Mel Gibson or Johnny Depp and they will never know unless they see me in person and then I am screwed - not literally, figuratively of course!

Oh, the humanity, Calcapt. Just when our little ménage à many is waitin' for Stinson to leave his wife and elope with Cass, your dose of reality hits like a cold shower. But, you're probably right. Busy schedules aside, the low-speed aborts in a physical encounter could be awkward. I have however, rescheduled my next Falcon 900 FSI class for FG's sake. Teter...er, Moonachie here I come. Time to see how Scott, Tony, Mad Mike, Rex, and the rest of the crew are doing for a change.

VERY quick question - I was scheduled to take my first flight this week (after not flying for 12 years. I developed an Abscessed tooth - how long should i wait to fly? I talked to a guy that flew commercially with one and he said it was the worst thing he ever did - do you think a Super Cub will kill me or should i put off until next week. Let's proceed. Even though i have no official place in the posse...or even membership (that i have heard of)...I authorize the kidnapping of CalCapt to the event in Vegas. As for people's schedules...well, if it is important enough to people they will come...if not, so be it. I personally can't think of much that would trump an alcohol and gambling romp with the others.

Skygirl doesn't seem to know where she's going, when, over the next few months. It keeps changing on me,.Thought I was in Seattle at the end of August , but now it's mid -September,.... Vegas, PHX, LAX, the Hoodoos of Southern Utah, and now possibly Europa. I don't even completely unpack anymore. I knew I should have packed my dive gear and headed off to Mexico to dive with that dude! Nothing feels more natural than rolling off the back of a boat with a tank of compressed air strapped on my back and into that weightless environment where it's just me and the little fishies,... and no telephones!!!...That's where Skygirl wants to be. For now, I'll have to go stare at my aquariums here at the house.
