8th grade was never this much fun, as a matter of fact, junior high is/and was a horrible time of life! I was a band geek who blossomed later in life...although I did do well with my music.
Poppa, I am curious to see these "very good hands" that we're in. You must offer up a photo to the posse members.
Re: the get-together - we shall have to agree on a location and date first. Having a look at my calendar, in the next 2 months, so far I see upcoming trips to Scottsdale-PHX, BUR, SEA and LAS...we could always strike up a summit in one of those locations.

My vote for a get together would be DFW -and by the time it happens, hopefully i will have my medical in hand and be current so i can fly myself there. Also - this Stinson Beach sounds delightful. Since the pilots here have cheap airfare available to them, and the non-pilots (Vagabond, Skygirl, MzCat) are gainfully employed - then there is NO reason not to schedule an event at some point in the future. Just my two cents. Talk is fun - action basd upon talks is better.

I have a week long meeting in DFW in September, but that is a ways off. Got a buddy with a Beech 18 I might possibly be able to convince sometime sooner, biggest problem is that those radials suck a lot of fuel ( huge dilemna... I might actually have to PAY to fly???!!!aaaaahhhhhhhh!)
So maybe I can take a roadtrip with the Mustang......
Suggestions?
( I would love to stowaway with HSLD... Ill even get the coffee,and the sweets!!!)

With NO offense to the other lovlies on the Board, Cass is quickly becoming my favorite. She satisfies my Big taildragger fetish (Beech 18 comment) as well as my pretty girl fetish. Bravo Cass!

Hmmm, my calendar doesn't look that great. August is entirely out of the question. I am on my annual vacation the last two weeks of September. Very likely going to be in San Antonio part of the time and Europe the other part. Any interest in a get together in Lisbon? hee hee.

My background is in taidraggers and aerobatics, and ( like all the rest of us) I do enjoy a well meant compliment.
I can see we are all going to have SO much fun....

Cass - My background is hanging around every summer with my Grandpa. He was a TWA captain when Airline pilots were Sky Gods (1953-1984). His hobby was restoring antiques. He was my idol. He restored two Waco's, a Howard DGA and an Aeronca Chief. That is where my taildragger fetish comes from.
Not sure how i contracted my pretty girl fetish...but i have had it for a long time. Much like airplanes, taildraggers, and flying it seems to increase over time.
