Did you get some action this week? I am jealous! What hot little number did YOU get? or did Charlie rub your rhubarb

I got some hearing loss "action" at NASCAR yesterday... Don't be jealous of that! A lot of Bubba's there, but some of the drivers and their crew were hot! I think I'd rather be a pilot groupie than a NASCAR groupie though..

All this action talk conjures up thoughts that makes us pilots loco. As the pimp, I should know about some of this so called action going on and at least be invited to a party now and then. Cass, I prefer kumkwats over rhubarb - just so you know! Skygirl, has it cooled down in SFO yet? Cass, what part of the country are you from? I'd love to stay and chat but my beach gear is waiting and it is sunscreen time. I'll be on later to hear about all this action taking place! Idea: Cass, how about me, you and Skygirl getting together for a meeting to discuss melting polar ice caps in North America? Over some wine, It could be an interesting discussion and who knows, we may solve some international issues. Or not!

Indeed! Big hands come in handy on a boat, particularly a sailboat!..and yes, VAN is the MAN! He used to live around here and his mom, Violet, owned a record store in town. She's a kick. We've shared beers and Irish drinking songs down at the local pub. They've moved back to Ireland, but his daughter Shana is still around. I love his music.

So should I become a NASCAR groupie or a pilot groupie? Let's debate this topic and the advantages and disadvantages to both. This should be a hoot of a debate...

I hear NASCAR drivers do most of their work alone, whereas pilots, tend to do their work in a more crew concept way. Plus, NASCAR drivers only take 10 seconds to pit where it takes a pilot at least 45 minutes to an hour - unless you are SWA and then they can do it in about 15 minutes. Just different ways to get the work done I guess! Make whatever Freudian references you want to the above facts - but they are facts!

Hmmm...(Skygirl considers the "pit" time)...all here should feel free to jump in and add to the debate. Slice, Falcon, Vagabond, Poppa?...and just where in the hell is MzKat?

No to Nascar!!!!
If you want to lose your hearing you can go an airshow and hang out by the Harriers, they are noisy bugars!
Besides, pilots are so much more entertaining, who else can you count on to embellish harrowing stories for your entertainment?!!
