whoa
Things seem to have devolved (or, evolved - depending on how you look at it) since I last logged on...

Plus, I've been flying so much for the past few months...don't get me wrong, I love my job, just a bit tired of hotels, can't say really that I want to sleep in my own bed though, I think the hotel beds are better than mine...I'm certainly in them more than mine. I am never one to complain, but if we would at least stop crossing time zones practically every other day, then I probably could get myself back in sync- hard to keep track what time it is sometimes. Just got into CT and it is already 8:30pm- asked the gal at the FBO where to get a bite to eat, she was absolutely no help! No crew car available, so walked down the street to corner store...we're dining on some very exquisite tostitos and salsa, beef jerky, cashews, and for dessert I'm having a Reeses PB cup- the jumbo sized one! At least they had milk...yep, I'm a milk girl! We are supposed to be launching out of here within a couple hours, back to Pacific time zone.
Skygirl...glad to hear about your son, congratulations!! What are his plans now?
Saying my prayers for your day tomorrow Slice!

Had to go to a conference full of judges and lawyers on Friday and returned today. Glad to see everyone is back and doing well. Reading the previous posts, I admit to being a bit worried. Rest assured that everything always turns out well. Life has a way of surprising us at the same time it is testing us.

You know, Falcon Girl, I don't like hotels either, even though my job does not require me to travel as much as it used to. This conference was held in a city 2.5 hours away and I had to sleep on a hotel bed for two nights. And the iced tea served at dinner was weaker than lizard pee.

Gotta guess now!!
Had to share the Pick-Up I just got sitting here in the FBO! This 30+ pilot is swaggering in...usually you can tell the swagger- it was at the GIV level at least. Starts talking to me, asking me if I'm waiting for my boyfriend to come in...told him no...then he asks if I'm waiting for passengers (saw a limo outside, thought I was with it), told him no. He then must have decided he wasn't really interested in what I had to say or why I was there, so started telling me all about what a kick-a** pilot he is, how he aced out about 5 other guys for this job and really impressed the boss on his smooth landing today..yadayadayada...
then he decides to go for the gusto...asked me if I wanted to see 'his' airplane...so I say okay...licking the chocolate from my ohsodelish Reeses fingertips, I do my best 'dumb chick' and follow this dude out to the ramp...and parked next to my DA50 is a ...........????????
