Oh, one more unrelated question. I have 1100 tt 150 multi. If I got a job flying say as SIC in a king air and got 1000hrs multi turbine am I eligiable to apply to CAL? Or does it have to be 1000hrs PIC multi turbine?
21...you couldn't handle MzKat, let alone Falcon Girl! Good luck in your pursuit of CAL however.

Talking mad... for the CRASH GROUPIES

This thread has gone utterly mad... so it's time for some straight talk from the Crashman! I MIGHT admit what I really do for a living - but only to Vagabond. She's a colleague. And please believe me -I'm not REALLY a flying pig. Well, OK! So what if I am? Sort of. In some ways. I guess.

Makin' up posses are we? Well then I guess I can let you-all in on the REALLY big secret. The ultimate all-female aviation posse already exists! The Crashman has groupies. Not just like ordinary rock 'n roll groupies but REAL ones with official uniforms and everything. Military discipline, formation training, the works. Crashman's Crash Groupies! Applications are being accepted, but the standards are very high. You have to be rated (in something, I decide what), and there is of course a Class One medical every week - administered by [koff, koff] yours truly. (Animals gave me some pointers, it's OK.) Ladies, if you think you MIGHT qualify... well, here's our custom logo and a picture of a recent parade formation in the following post. (Can't show you our party pix, the admins here wouldn't allow that..) You decide! I'll be around.

No thanks.

BTW Slice, where do you fly Vipers? Flew 'em for three years at MacDill in the '80s, but very rarely heard it refered to as the Viper. We called it the "16", and sometimes "lawn dart", but not the AF's official nickname. Must be a new phenonmena, or maybe a Guard thing.

Crashman, I like you but we have different philosophies, concepts if you will. I have no groupies and we don't wear uniforms. Our uniforms consist mainly of bikinis, thongs, bermuda shorts or perhaps nothing at all. We have no discipline other than carrying bags of ice to cool the beer or rubbing sunscreen on each others backs. Our formation training consists mainly of lining up our pool chairs in such a way as to gain maximum visual reference to any unknowing hottie or even a fellow posse member. Our commitment to enjoy life and each other are paramount. We have no class one medicals every week although we do squeeze in a physical exam from time to time when we can coordinate layovers. We are a select few and can't compete with your numbers. You are clearly superior in that regard. calcapt's posse subscribes to the chips and salsa mentality with a beer or margarita to wash them down. Add a little Reggae music while sitting around a pool laughing and joking about life and flying airplanes, and that is our humble posse. We are small in numbers but strong on loyalty; however, my girls are free to choose and they know that. I was unaware vagabond was a colleague. She will have to decide which posse she wants to ride with. Good luck with your groupies and your recruiting. You are da man!

We also talked about body piercing and body enhancement implants. I thought college taught me alot - not so!
Calcapt, you can learn a lot about body enhancement parts when working with the folks in Hollyweird! I was at a LA party not long ago with a friend of mine from New Zealand, and at one point, I leaned over to her and said, "Fiona, I think that we're the only 2 women in this room with our original body parts"..she laughed and agreed. It was amazing to view a room full of 20-30 year olds who had major work done. I wonder how it will all look in 10-20 years? My ex has somewhat filled me in the long term prospects....thanks, but no thanks, I'll just try to stay out of the sun, keep my own boobs, and be with a man who appreciates a woman who can still "feel" over a woman who looks like a barbie doll.

Does this mean that your legal briefs are going to be served up as evidence?

Hey, forget out those pilots. What you need is an Air Traffic Controller! Stop by the Tower sometime for a tour... and dinner after I get off work.
