I'm staying by SFO this weekend. Having some work done on my house and needed a break from all the construction dust, etc. I get cheap travel industry rates at this hotel.

You would be in heaven here, there are pilots all over the place here. Skygirl is tired and a bit blue, so not in the spirit of pilot pickup...LOL. I'm just enjoying watching the planes coming and going over the Bay from my room and catching up on some reading.....boring, huh?

Skygirl...having a blast over here, haven't made it to the other side yet. My friend gets impatient with me, she wants to just lay around on the beach, I'm too hyper though, like to go DO stuff...been hiking, surfing, snorkeling, and supposed to go out on a boat today with my boss and his pals to look for dolphins and whales. Just got back from running on the beach, she is just waking up! But then again, some of our new pals had to help me get her back to our room and into bed (around 2:00)! She is such a lightweight, that was only a few mai-tais! We met some very sweet guys last night, med students that just graduated...and they kept buying, so we kept drinkin'! I swear this one was sleeping outside our door, when I opened it this morning to go running, he was right there...I guess I must have told him I go every day because he was ready to go with me.

I thought so as well... Falcon, tell your boss to point the boat out towards the island of Kahoolawe. I often saw Pacific Spinner dolphins out in that area of the Maui Channel. I've slipped in the water with them and had them surround me. It was an amazing moment.It's not exactly humpback season there now though, so good luck with that. I get bored just laying on the beach as well, not to mention it cooks your skin. I'm glad that the med school graduates have graduated. Take it from me, you don't want to go through that.... ...Have fun!

This is my first post having just registered tonight, although I have been reading this forum almost daily for a few months. You all seem like wonderful people and I hope I can contribute to the existing camaraderie. I'm not a pilot so take it easy on me!
