What is a goose anyway, a type of duck? I nearly hit about 40,000 ducks a day at Mid-Continent doing flight training. It is so bad, they are considering bulldozing a special lake just to lure away all the thousands of ducks living at the airport. When you fly into Mid-Continent there are these huge fields full of ducks sitting on the ground doing duck stuff, and when they get excited all trouble breaks loose for the aircraft using the airport. I vote for the lake.

Yup, a really big one. Canadian Geese can grow to upwards of 15 pounds.

Living less than two miles from the Mississippi means I get to see a ton of them. Also hit one in a cessna a few years back. Put one hell of a dent in the leading edge.
