bike progression:
2003 ninja 250r
1998 ninja 600
2007 GSX-R 600
Got pulled over 6 times +/- 1 (can't remember)
They caught up to me going 120 (props to that crown vic)
Zero tickets. No idea why I got so lucky
Slowed way down after losing a friend to a semi-truck accident
Don't cross the double yellow - ever
Still enjoy weekend rides with the fiance on back

I've never been pulled over either... fastest in traffic was a little over 120. The only reason I have ever been this fast was purely tactical... getting away from a tailgater,,, gaggle of fools and so on. After clear of danger, of course back off to a reasonable speed. I doubt a cop would ever give a ticket if you are trying to elude danger and then settle down afterward. I have had my bike up to over 150 on the runway at my local airport. My nerve gave out before the bike did.
I like the GSXR and the -104... The next pic of the mini... how do you turn on that?
My son had a '07 GSXR600 but it was destroyed my an elderly gentleman. He appeared clueless as to the gravity of the situation including a totalled bike and an injured rider laying on the pavement. Fortunately, my son wasn't hurt too bad. He is bikeless now and I miss him as a riding partner.

I think a passion for airplanes and motorcycles go hand in hand. Right now I have a 1988 Honda Hawk GT650 (best bike ever made for real world use) and a 2002 Honda CR125, and a 1979 Yamaha GT80 I bought new in 1980!
Progression of bikes:
197? Honda Mini Trail
1979 Yamaha GT80
1972 Honda CB360
1983 Yamaha XS650 Heritage Special
1989 Suzuki Katana 600
1989 Honda Hawk GT650 (never got to ride because dealer crashed it!)
1989 Honda Hawk GT650
1989 Honda Hawk GT650
1996 Suzuki GSXR 750 SRAD
1977 Honda CB550
1988 Honda Hawk GT650 (yea I got a thing for these things. Google it)
2002 Honda CR125
I went about 10 years without a bike after my son was born, but now I have determined I will always have a bike! Owning a motorcycle is a lot cheaper than owning a plane, and gives it me the same enjoyment as flying. A poor man airplane!

Right now I'm on my second bike, a 2006 Ninja 500. The 500 is great because I've decided it's plenty fast (I can pretty much keep up with my buddy's 650 doing 115 on these backroads) plus it's really cheap to own, bought mine for just 1800 bucks.
Right now I'm kind of undecided on whether I want to keep riding or give it up though... I'm a student pilot in the Air Force, and I know that even a "small" incident on a bike can postpone or even crush my dreams of flying... I'm trying to balance that with the fact that I get a lot of enjoyment from cruising that thing around Del Rio... Maybe I don't have to decide today?!
