It was a bike way ahead of it's time! Sales in the 80's were miserable because everyone wanted a bike with fairings. There were still new models on showroom floors into the mid 90's. It has cult status now, and when you see one for sale they go pretty quickly. They usually stay under $3g's though. I got my 88 for $1000 and a Glock 22. It's in mint condition with some tasteful mods like a K&N, F3 fork springs, Corbin saddle, bug screen....all included! Can't beat that!

Default To rise from the ashes...

Thread revival!

Got a 1996 Yamaha XJ600 Seca II at the beginning of the summer. So far, maintenance > riding by a large margin. It's frustrating, to say the least, but I am determined as the weather is just starting to get nice.

This is the look I'm working towards:

Nice bikes Tony. On an unrelated note: No more CRJ900; Lagos, Nigeria?

Going home on rotation Thurs. Last 4 sector trip in the morning. Was possibly going to B737NG, or left seat on CRJ. It's a really, REALLY screwed up company. Not paying bills. Pilots quitting.

Return 19 Oct for recurrent. If they pay for the sim

There are some great deals on vintage bikes. I was looking for just a naked sport bike last Summer and picked up an '82 Yamaha XJ650J Maxim that's looks and performs flawlessly.
