Shaving and general grooming

For an interview you'd be right, but for a pilot the grooming standards are way down the list below things like "Maintain thy airspeed, lest the ground rise up and smite thee" and monitoring your angle of arrival.

I guess I have been lucky so far then. On Christmas Eve I spent 4 hours in Terminal 3 at Houston and saw numerous CAL pilots pass by while I sat people watching. Although there was one pilot on the tram who I wanted to ask how old he was (I didn't), I didn't see one single pilot who didn't look every part of the professional.

probably not! to ugly and wrong sex for that kind of job?worked in hotel and catering;now called hospitallity ,the name gives it away,it s not just the pilot. in fact probably least so;but the whole air line and all staff that should provide the sevice, some one pays they have a idea of what they expect in return.incedently i was frequently pulled for my appearence;even at the sim,not the company image ect
