for me i think we fight a whole lot less than other couples (maybe one or two arguments a year) just because we dont see each other too often. that's the good part. but i'm also a 2-leg commuter... and looking back this year, there were many, many nights where i commuted home... and i was so stressed from commuting/work that i'd be venting half the time that i was home. esp. those times when commuting doesnt work out well at all (which seems to happen often for me). venting nonstop is not something i consciously wanted to do, it's just what i have to do to relieve stress... but i think that took away a lot from the quality of life at home because that's all im talking about even though im home. it takes a day or two to get out of the funk, but by then it's already time to commute back to the base.

****... i'm on reserve and I barely ever fly. I've only been away from home for 2 nights in the last 3 months. My G/f lends me company during my reserve days...
Just a little tip, take everything you see on these boards with a grain of salt. There is a lot of grumpy people on this board, and the life really isn't so bad.

A girlfiend in several cities is my suggestion.....or one with travel benifits. It keeps things exciting at home and gives you something to imagine while you have obligation s3x with your wife/steady girl. And you can do things to strangers that you have to much respect to do to the one you love!!!
