God bless him and all the sick children...

One of the "perks" of being a moderator is the ability to do a little social engineering by moving threads around and quietly trying to influence behavior. I have always thought cargo guys go to very interesting places, and I'm sure Kyle and Nicolas would love getting postcards from Shanghai or Almaty. Since I will never go to these places, I'll do my part and send him a postcard from Seattle! Heck, might as well drive up there myself and deliver some APC stickers to him.

Here's another sad yet inspiring story...

This really hits close to home for me. My son was diagnosed, when he was 7 too, with a cancerous brain tumor 4 years ago so I know just how the family feels. Watching my son lose the ability to eat, walk and talk due to the effects of the surgery, radiation and chemotherapy just killed me. Knowing you can't do anything to stop it or make it go away so he'll be safe and healthy once again...
I know Idaho isn't an exotic location to get a post card from, but I would be honored to send him one anyway. I'm going to take this to the base PA office to see if I can't get some of the pilots to do the same.
