When are you going to write a book?
Yea, de727ups is quite a guy. Did you know that we are friends in real life? If I ever was to attempt to write a book it would have to be in collaboration with him. He would have to co-write, edit or both. I don't know where I would be without him and feel lonely if he doesn't immediately post something to contradict me. He is my friend.

Guys, being a pilot suck because every job sucks

Iīm a lawyer. Iīm not even in aviation, and guess what? Being a lawyer sucks. You know?

Even if you are a prostitute, which is a person who basically has sex all day for money, you are going to think that being a ***** sucks. Because itīs work. Everything that is involved with work, somehow sucks. Thatīs the truth of it.

That being said, for those that are pilots, try to remember, that you do something that is different and appreciated, and that people depend on you. Thatīs the upside of work. Thatīs where you need to focus on.

Of course, for most people, that want to have kids and settle down, this or any other career that involves a lot of travelling and being away from home will going to suck a bit more. And I understand that.

So, kids who are reading this, try thinking about that before going to become pilots ok?

Most jobs suck. It is true, however the more they stink the greater the pay usually. The issue concerning a pilot career is that you have to deal with a huge investment to get trained and educated plus endure a poor lifestyle for the result of low wages and thin job security.

A plumber will not show up to work for for peanut wages and bad treatment. The mailman will stop coming if the government was to cut their wages in half. Pilots however will take a huge beating and keep on coming. It is what makes out profession different and why our jobs stink and we go home to unpaid bills to boot.

There are other field of aviation that doesn't suck and is very demanding. I choice the field of agriculture flying. Aerial applicating is a very rewarding field in which you only work during the summers. It is a high demanding jobs that pays well.

Dang you capt. Carl. I opened this thread and saw the date. I read every post with the anticipation of posting "Holy old thread batman" once I reached the end. As I got closer and closer to the end, the excitement built. You, sir, have ruined my night.
