Just curious what everyone listens to in their free time. A lot of my favorites (not in order):

  • Eisbrecher
  • Unheilig

  • Frankie Goes to Hollywood - Relax
  • Peter Schilling - Major Tom
  • Skid Row
  • Orgy - Blue Monday
  • A Flock of Seagulls - I Ran
  • Don Henley
  • Eurythmics - Sweet Dreams
  • Eddy Grant - Electric Avenue
  • Dead or Alive
  • Rush
3 Scandinavian Metal
  • Deathstars (favorite band on the list)
  • Soilwork
  • Nightwish
  • Sonic Syndicate
  • Sabaton
4 Trance and Techno
  • Darude
  • DJ Tiesto
Other bands I listen to: Bon Jovi, Falco, Metallica, Dover, Foo Fighters, Slipknot, Good Charlotte, and Electric Six (second favorite band on the list).

Um, my username for starters. A terrifically talented band whose skill is obscured by the frauds known as Nickelback, Hinder, Offspring, Korn and Three Days Grace.

Metallica
Maiden
Candlebox (recent new release)
Ra
Triumph (Yes, a child of the 80s)
Old, pre-radio ballad-Chicago (Terry Kath type of stuff)
James Taylor
Jim Croce
Slipknot (admittedly, just the stuff I've heard on the radio)
Tesla
Queensryche
Sammy Hagar
Keb 'Mo
Stevie Ray Vaughan (That man, by himself, WAS music.)

Talib Kweli's insane. He's got so much talent. I listen to artists like:

Elzhi (part of slum village)
Black Milk
The Game
Papoose
Eminem
Bishop Lamont
Dr. Dre

and many, many more. I love hip-hop. I also listen to the usual Nickelback, Nirvana, Incubus, and a few other rock groups.

Cub:

That's a pretty solid list there of traditional jazz masters/artist.

Kings of Leon - Look into them, they're incredible. Their new CD has been playing nonstop in my car for the last few weeks.
