I saw some guy dressed as a Comair pilot last Halloween. Wasn't sure if it was just a kid trick-or-treating or a regional guy looking for free food, so I gave him extra candy just in case.

What a tool....

In a best buy playing that guitar hero game, and no I'm not kidding I wanted to take a picture with my phone. You should have seen the people staring at them.

Damn, lots of crazy stories of stopping by the gas station or grabbing something from the store in your uniform.

Its your job, who cares if your in your uniform. You don't see anyone else changing before going anywhere if their going to or from work. I don't care if people look at me enough to warrant dressing down.. too much effort, especially on the way TO work. Although in the fall I will throw a black spring coat on before stopping in and going shopping and stuff.

I should start walking around with a sign on my back saying I make less then 18,000$ a year..

Only if you want to get laid a lot. You'll be beating them off with a stick.

There is a guy at my home airport who hangs around alot in a full naval flight suit. He is a "master" cfi and must think it gives him credibility or something while he is flying around J3 cubs.

He was never in the military...

LOL

We had a guy that would rent our C-150 when I was a line guy years ago. He was in his early 30's. Would bring women he met to the airport and take them flying. Flight suit, kneeboard, Rayban aviators - the whole shebang. When he was flying for himself he didn't dress up - but still had the aviators with the case on his belt.

100hr PPL. We loved that guy.
