Default A Big Mac Attack

For once, I am rendered speechless. I am fascinated with numbers myself, but this fascination is limited to my bank account, not food.

From Associated Press:
FOND DU LAC, Wis. - A 54-year-old man says his obsessive-compulsive disorder drove him to eat 23,000 Big Macs in 36 years.

Fifty-four-year-old Don Gorske says he hit the milestone last month, continuing a pleasurable obsession that began May 17, 1972 when he got his first car.

Gorske has kept every burger receipt in a box. He says he was always fascinated with numbers, and watching McDonald's track its number of customers motivated him to track his own consumption.

The only day he skipped a Big Mac was the day his mother died, to respect her request.

The correctional-institution employee says he doesn't care when people call his Big Mac obsession crazy. He says he's in love with the burgers, which are the highlights of his days.

I wonder how big that guy is. Assuming he ate the burgers alone without fries and a soda that adds up to 16,192,000 Calories.

All I can say is wow. I did some quick math and 36 years is 13,140 days plus 9 days from leap years, and you get 13,149. 23,000 Big Macs/13,149 days...Holy crap! That's 1.75/day! For 36 years!

It almost looks like he disguised himself....I'd say that given his job it might be a good idea to keep himself at least a little anonymous.

He is interviewed on "Super Size Me" wich was a documentary by Morgan Spurlock a few years ago on the effects of eating fast food daily.

He is suprisingly thin...and no he is not disguising himself in that picture, thats how he looks

He also doesn't "work" for McD
