How long do you guys and gals think it will be before the carriers suspend fuel surcharges?

Never. Passengers will get used to the charge soon, if they haven't already, and there will be no reason to drop it. They can continue their advertising gimic of posting a low fare on the internet and then adding 10-25 percent later in the booking process for fuel, security, baggage, oxygen, and lift surcharges.

The infrastructure for that one is already in place, right? Just keep the cabin depressurized and charge $10 for a mask...?
