Default Dr. Martens

Anyone know if the Ian by Dr. Marten's Sole Collection are airport friendly?

No, but I can say that Dr. Scholl's are! The best $15 I have spent in a while.

If they do, it's really easy to take a felt marker and make them black. I did that to mine in the hopes of wearing them every day but unfortunately they have a steel shank and set of the detector. I'm too lazy to take my shoes off every time.

No yellow stitching thankfully!

I think they're the "Air Wairs" or something

Don't ruin a great pair of Docs like that. Leave the yellow, its classic. I wore mine for almost a year before they were retired.

No, there is no yellow stitching. They look like a basic oxford dress shoe, but they have the air sole on them and the sole is black, not yellow.

It's called the Ian from the sole collection. You can only purchase them through the Dr. Marten Usa Store online.

Dr. Martens are junk now. Ever since the company was sold, the shoes have been made in Indonesia or something. I've had my first pair for 9 years. They were made in the UK. My most recent pair I've had for 5 months, and they are falling apart. What a let down.
