Default Canpass

I just applied for a Corporate CanPass. I'm just wondering how expeditious it is. At $40 for five years, I'm not worried, but just would like to know what to expect. We'll be entering at small airports, anyway.

Any thoughts?

I will just guess that as everything that goes thru parts of the Canadian government it will probably take a while to get back to you.

What would a Canpass be?

CanPass or CANPASS or Can Pass or however the heck the gov't writes it out, is a "pass" to get into Canada easier. I don't know the details of it, but know that it was requested by "our" new boss for our whole family.

You fill out a three page form, including Passport info and copy, five year residence and job history (which for us included a lot of extra paper. Ugh) and details of the airport/FBO of arrival, company, aircraft make/model/year/N#, etc., etc.

You can get CanPass for private, corporate, airline travel and boats.

It is to speed up customs when you arrive.

I'll explain using "our" boss in quotation marks sometime...it's complicated.

That sounds really cool. They need one for those that go to Canada every weekend for the day .
