Agree. I was a typical reckless teen and although was clever at escaping the consequences, my poor judgment still amazes me. Driving around too fast with open beer in the car... hardly a clue what the possible consequences are. I feel really bad when some kid who is no worse than that does something and gets ruined for life.

The difference is that most of us are smart/lucky enough to not get caught

But you could hurt somebody on the ground. And unless you stole it, somebody entrusted you with their multi-million dollar jet.

Actually a couple of mesa guys did exactly that...in a BE-1900. Irrepairable structural (and career) damage. And you thought the 410 boys were idiots...

Most of us did, but we inherently knew the threat environment. Just like you said, more tolerance in our day. These guys have no excuse for not knowing the high threat environmnent theft would have on their futures. Just like drinking and driving, twenty five years ago it was highly frowned upon, with MADD, it became intolerable (as it should) but it is a harsh environmment. Sadly, they didn't do a quick, even inebriated operational risk management. Hard lesson, feel bad for their families too.

Well being a Riddle grad and an airline pilot. I'd have to say..That is frickin HILARIOUS!

Just a bunch of guys out having fun. Nobody got hurt. No reptiles were damaged. And the mug shots are priceless

The whole world needs to chill out.... Doesn't anybody have a sense of humor anymore?

I'd love to hear about that in an interview. I'd almost have to hire the guy on the spot just for the character building experience that provided as a whole.

One of these days I'll have to tell you how I got kicked out of NMSU. These guys are amateurs

While at Riddle, I got a marriage license with some chick to get out of the housing contract (wanted out of the dorms). Hope she didn't save that paper and find out where I am today....

The flight team went on a mission down to PHX one night a confiscated a freeway sign that said "detention facility, do not pick up hitchikers". Word was, it was stored until parents day and then displayed at the main entrance to the Prescott campus.

We also watched porn in the dorms over the Riddle campus wide closed circut TV network at 2am cause one of the AV interns was on the flight team.

Good times were had by all in a tiny college town in the early 80's. We did what we had to do....

I can agree... I mean, wow, losing the Military Scholarships... That is rough. Now what are they gonna do? I personally dont think their lives should be ruined by one stupid mistake that really didnt hurt anyone/anything. Hell if half of the stuff the Frat guys do here at MTSU were to get out, it would be a field day for the press.

I guess thats what happens at a school where the boy to girl ratio is about 18 to 1.

I know a space engineering guy at the Florida campus, Way to smart for me btw.... Anyhow, He said that the few girls that are there are ugly... Now you see kids, this is why I went to a good State college. Could be why it is taking me a ****-ton longer aswell... But the scenery is nice.
