I'd still do it all over again. But instead of going into the regular Navy, I would go the Air Guard route. It seems that there isn't as much left to "the needs of the service". I don't know that for sure, but from what I remember of Guard dogs it must be true. The one thing I definitely would NOT do differently is get a degree in something non-aviation related. (Architecture in my case).. The reasons for that are obvious.

I really don't know if I would choose flying again. I would look into a lot of other professions before I would choose flying again, that is for sure. I do like flying, but especially with a kid on the way, I question the choice I made because I am gone so much, and it really does take a while to make enough money to live on.
