NetFlix Picks
Do you like that sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach that tells you "something just isn't right"? Well, if you have netflix here are my picks for this week:
Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room
As "Kenny Boy and Jeffery" start their trial this week, here's your chance to catch up on the back story.
Next up: The Corporation
One reviewer said: " This is the most important documentary of our time. I can't recommend this highly enough. It exposes truths that no one is saying but everyone should know. It has changed the way I view the world. For the sake of our future, rent this movie and spread the word!!"
OK, my take: Both films are better than 90% of what comes out of Hollywood. I'd give both two thumbs up for renting as a DVD. I think both movies would do well packaged with Fight Club.

I read that Enron book a couple years ago. Blew me away.... and angered me. I'm also looking forward to renting the movie.
There's a new book on the Enron cronies called Conspiracy of Fools. These fools are toast. Too bad they took with them so many innocent hard working folks.....

the thing about enron? i could never figure out what they actually DID. when i realized that, i remembered what warren buffet said about the companies he invests in: paraphrase, "if i can't really understand what a business does or how it makes money, or the explanation or business model is complicated, i pass."
the brother of one of my wife's customers is a central figure in this. i think he's testifying to save his skin.
