Flight simulator flight
So I'm flying from OMDB to VOTV (Dubai to Trivandrum, India) on FS2004. It's about an 3 hour flight. I was doing a nice ILS landing on runway 34 at VOTV, and there's a building in the middle of the runway. Of course, I crashed. What the hell? It was a nice landing also till I "crashed into the building."

I'm using MS FlightSim X. I like flying the King Air 350. My controls seem to be more responsive during free flight as oppose to flying a mission. The graphics, in terms of landscape could be a helluva lot better.
Since I live in SE Florida, I been doing all my "flying" in the SE Florida for right now. I have been flying VFR on all my flights. Not quite sure how to start using the instruments in terms of flying IFR.

Ha! The construction company must have thought it was the parking lot. That reminds me of when I was flying into KBNA in a Piper Cub in a huge crosswind. As I was descending a gust hits my plane and flips me over and into a 737 on the taxiway!

Also, from my FSX experience, the building you crashed into was a very poorly modeled VOR or NDB Station.

[QUOTE=Title27;348360]What are you having trouble with as far as IFR?/QUOTE]
In terms using the instruments in order to "fly" under IFR rules. I haven't tried setting the weather conditions to "actual" IFR conditions either.
I guess if I spend some more quality time with it, I could figure it out; on an elementary level that is.

I like making the clouds start at 100 feet or so (and go up to 40,000) and also have the visibility drop to 1/4 mile for this range, so when I'm on the approach, all the sudden I'll break out and have infinite visibility all around me and all the way up to the bottom of the clouds
