The best all time was the IGS 13 at the old Hong Kong especially with a left crosswind. It is hard to describe the descent through the buildings eye to eye with people sitting on their balconies spot the checkerboard and then make a 47deg heading change to a runway built in the middle of the harbor. Very Cool. There some great pictures on airliners.net

What about the ILS to 18R MCO? 12,000X200 ft runway or something like that. Better be on your A game.

Harbor visual into PWM. Start over the ocean, and you snake your way into the harbor careful to remain over the water as the waterway shrinks to less then a couple hundred yards wide(and still snaking around like a little river)lining up on the runway. Great views of all the fishing boats, and of Portland all the way to the airport.

Why 12000 ft not enough?

Yeah thats a tough one. Back in the day used to love the vor 23 Deland Fl. with 5 otters @ 13.5k dropping 100 meat missiles. aka skydivers. straight at your airplane. good times.

First time I flew there was at night. I leveled-off on short final to avoid the mast of a passing sailboat that was going back to the marina.

Wish that airport was still open.

Sounds similar to DTW. Except you're are 12k.

Overhead numbers of 4R, short approach to runway 29 at EWR is a fun one.

I don't have my charts handy, but the VOR/DME 2 Rwy 13 into BJX is a lot of fun as well, with the arc and all. Also, one of the teardrop VOR approaches into SLP is great fun at night.

Hell, I'd say any approach into Mexico at night is a kick in the ass.
